Enriched Junior Kindergarten Program

A DAY IN THE LIFE / JK

Our Discovery Children’s Center is a licensed preschool where children enjoy learning letters and sounds through a fun phonic’s program. Your child will practice writing their name, participate in dramatic play and be immersed in sensory activities such as finger-painting, and imagination adventures. Whether it’s an exciting game of “Musical Chairs” or playing “Animal Characters” your child will learn to works as a team with his/her classmates.

  Exceptional Junior Kindergarten (JK) Program

Junior Kindergarten (JK) is a very important step and an exciting time in your child’s formal education. DCC offers a creative approach to an exceptional JK program.

Activities throughout the year include: Weekly chapels, Grandparent’s Day, Mother’s and Father’s Day, Christmas Programs, Teddy Bear Picnic, and a Graduation Ceremony. Field trips include: Pumpkin Patch, Community Helper, Petting Zoo, Class Parties for Harvest/Thanksgiving, Christmas, Valentine’s, 100th Day, and Easter.
